Welcome to the Northwest Arkansas MLK Council

The mission of the Northwest Arkansas Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Council is to continue to advance and promote the dream, life, and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. which emphasizes love and action.

 

Our purpose is to promote awareness, education, and unity throughout the Northwest Arkansas community.  We solicit and encourage all Northwest Arkansas residents and communities to participate and contribute to the celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Life and Legacy.

      NWA MLK Council Seeks New Members

NWA MLK JR COUNCIL SELECTION AND NOMINATION PROCESS
The Northwest Arkansas Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Council has 5 seats available. The NWA MLK Council is a non-profit organization that promotes the dream, life, and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through awareness, education, and unity throughout the Northwest Arkansas communities. Volunteers must: reside in Benton or Washington counties; be available to attend monthly meetings; and serve on working sub-committees.


Interested individuals are asked to submit a resume and letter of interest that explains why you want to serve on the NWA MLK Council (no more than one page) to nwamlk@yahoo.com (preferred) or via regular mail to:
