A Message on the George Floyd Tragedy
We, the members of the NWA Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Council stand in unison with our brothers and sisters of all races as we mourn the
injustice and killing of George Floyd.
We ask all of our brothers and sisters to speak out about this injustice that occurs with black and brown people whether it is COVID -19 or the senseless killings of African American men and women.
"There comes a time when silence is betrayal." "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." "In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends." "Only in the darkness can you see the stars." Dr. King
